★★★★★

By following through each module I was able to learn and build on the concepts with minimal questions or frustration. It taught me what I was looking to learn, was well organised, and well-paced. I'm already applying what I learned at work.

As a mum of two, your course gave me a great introduction to Montessori Education. It helped me understand the theories better so I can talk more easily to their teachers — and helped me prepare our home environment too.

Common Questions

Everything you need
to know before enrolling.

Are these courses accredited or nationally recognised?+
MTA courses are not nationally accredited vocational qualifications. However, the Endorsed MPLP courses (MTA055 and MTA077) carry a Certificate of Completion endorsed by Montessori Australia and may count as credit toward select Diploma programmes. Visit amti.au for nationally recognised Diploma options.
Can I study if I'm not in Australia?+
Yes — all courses are fully online and accessible from anywhere in the world. The content is grounded in the Australian context (EYLF, NQF), but the Montessori principles are universal. Prices are listed in Australian dollars.
How long do the courses take to complete?+
Single-module courses take roughly 2–3 hours. The Role of the Assistant (MTA0225) is approximately 8 hours. The 6-module MPLP courses are designed to take several weeks at a self-paced rate. You have ongoing access once enrolled — no pressure to rush.
Will this course count toward a Montessori Diploma?+
Completing an Endorsed MPLP (MTA055 or MTA077) may be recognised as credit toward select Diploma-level programmes. Contact AMTI at [email protected] to discuss your situation before enrolling if credit is a key consideration.
What's the difference between a Certificate of Participation and a Certificate of Completion?+
A Certificate of Participation (MTA033) confirms you completed the modules — no formal assessment required. A Certificate of Completion (MTA055, MTA077) is awarded after assessment by a Montessori trainer and is endorsed by Montessori Australia. The Certificate of Completion carries more professional weight and may attract Diploma credit.
Do I need any prior Montessori knowledge to enrol?+
No prior knowledge required. MTA011, MTA033, MTA055, MTA0225, and all single-module courses are accessible to complete beginners. Try the free trial lesson first if you're unsure.
Can I get a refund if the course isn't right for me?+
Please review the refund policy on the Montessori Training Australia website before purchasing. We strongly recommend the free trial lesson first — it gives you a genuine preview so you can enrol with confidence.
I'm a Montessori Australia member. Are there discounts?+
Yes — Montessori Australia members receive special pricing on select courses. Visit the MA Member Offers page for current discounts and how to access them.
